At BCIS, we're on a mission to drive cost and carbon certainty for the built environment - putting data at the heart of construction. Our cost and benchmarking tools give the industry the insight it needs to plan smarter, build more sustainably and deliver with confidence.
BCIS became an independent brand in 2022 and has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past three years. With significant investment, we have modernised our systems, supported and grown our people, and evolved into a leading tech and data driven brand. This momentum continues today, building on more than 65 years of trusted heritage serving the built environment.

At the core of that mission is our people. We’re building a diverse team of analysts, economists and specialists, across project, supply chain and rebuild data - and the econometric models and data products that are powered by them who are excited by the opportunity to build the underlying benchmarks for an entire industry.
We are on an upward trajectory, driven by a startup mindset that encourages innovation, agility, and continuous improvement. While our heritage gives us stability and trust, our forward looking culture ensures we adapt quickly, embrace new technologies, and challenge ourselves to deliver more for our customers. By providing robust benchmarking tools and solutions that support effective risk mitigation, we empower organisations to plan with confidence and make informed decisions. This unique combination of experience and entrepreneurial spirit positions BCIS as a dynamic force shaping the future of the built environment and insurance sectors.
Flexibility is part of how we work. Many roles are remote-first, supported by cloud-based systems and digital collaboration tools. For those who prefer shared space, our Coventry and Harrogate offices are open hubs. Twice a year, the whole team comes together in person to share ideas, celebrate progress and look to the future.

Working at BCIS means being part of a forward-thinking, supportive team. We combine cost expertise with technology to transform how construction data is used across the UK.
Colleagues are encouraged to share ideas, test new approaches and shape products that support a more sustainable industry. Whether working remotely or in one of our offices, life here is about collaboration, balance and innovation.
Our current opportunities are listed below. Each role sets out responsibilities, required skills and the benefits you’ll enjoy.
We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, whether you’re a data specialist, a construction professional, or someone with transferable skills looking to make an impact in tech and the built environment.
